I sat there and screamed in laughter. I don’t even remember if he said anything else.  I was shocked. Mouth all types of agape. He wasn’t wrong, #doe.  And Mike Meyers’ face, y’all. before that he pointed out that on the news when they reported people taking items from stores when they reported that whites were taking things they would report it in a good light of survival and when they reported that blacks were doing it, they reported it as “looting” and “stealing”. he was on point. mike myers couldn’t handle the truth being spoken out loud. oh my god yes. then there was the world’s longest most awkward silence i literally remember screaming with laughter because not only was the shit true but look at meyers, yo looooooook I just watched VH1’s 40 Most Shocking Hip Hop moments and this was #1, beating out the death of Biggie and Tupac. George W. Bush later went on to state in his memoirs that Kanye’s statement was the worst thing to happen to him throughout his entire presidency.  Years later on the Today show Matt Lauer tried to coax an apology out of Kanye and he just was not having it.  This was/is me:
